With over 30 years in the work world, I know first hand how stressful the work environment has become.  My last employer included chair massages as part of its wellness program to its employees.  I found taking 20 minutes out of my work day, two times a month provided meaningful stress reduction and greater productivity and creativity in my work life.

GwendaK, LLC was established in 2003 to promote the benefits of massage therapy through practice, and through the sharing of information and education.  I am certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB); and licensed by the State of Maryland. My professional membership includes the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), presently serving as Board Secretary for the AMTA/ Maryland Chapter.

You determine the type of corporate massage program that best suits your company. It may be a weekly, monthly or quarterly schedule. You may establish your program in one of three ways or a combination of ways:

  1. On-site chair massage, cost covered by employee.  The time integrals are 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes.

  2. On-site chair massage, cost shared between employee and employer.

  3. Gift certificates redeemable for on/off-site massage – you set the value. Your company can pay for the entire service or use the program as a percentage off of the actual rates.
